God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,

With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts
To prove to us,

Tracey E. Blassingame (of Baltimore, Maryland) was born on July 27, 1965. She had always been known by everyone as "Tracey with the long hair".
Tracey was called home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2010 after a tough battle with cervical cancer.
She leaves her mother, Dorothy Blassingame; three sons - Kawan, Brandan, and Jordan Grant; two sisters, Vanessa Blassingame and Kathy Blassingame-Robinson.
