Poems

Love Ones Gone Home

They put a roof over our heads.
That's true!

They provided food
for our growing, sweet souls.

They warmed us by the fire
when we were cold.

They told us stories of
long, long ago.

They comforted us
when we were weeping and sad.

They protected us
from the gloomy past.

They gave us life,
love, and identities.

Thank GOD for our ancestors!

That's why we are here
